Welcome to EDEN Talks: FUTURE FORWARD
We aim to build connections that foster and elevate a better future for every child. We look to simplify what can often be an overwhelming flood of information by getting parents, schools, and policymakers together to get straight to the questions that matter to us as parents. We strive to keep you informed of available resources and options, to enable your family to make well-informed decisions.
Happy Feet to Pointe Shoes - Supporting your Child through Ballet and Beyond
This session explores the impact of scholarships and the partnerships that open doors for young learners. We’ll also unpack the complex journey of supporting children in ballet—from grades, conditioning, and auditions to navigating theatre and classical pathways. With shifting expectations and no single route, it can feel overwhelming. A panel of leading ballet schools will lead an open, face-to-face discussion, offering parents and guardians practical insights on how to support their child’s aspirations with clarity, confidence, and care.

Tea Huddles with Independent School Heads
Choosing the right school can feel overwhelming, but real clarity comes from meaningful conversations—not just prospectuses and league tables. This session offers a rare opportunity to connect directly with School Heads in small-group huddles, exploring what truly sets scholarship candidates apart, how schools assess academic and character potential, and what makes each school’s ethos unique. You’ll gain practical insight into Principal Awards, preparation timelines, and what schools are really looking for—beyond the application form. Whether you're just starting the journey or preparing for Year 7, you'll leave with insight, confidence, and a clearer sense of fit for your child.

A Strategy to Fund the Future
Killik & Co is a family-focused wealth management firm, known for helping clients build long-term financial strategies. A frequent topic in their client conversations is the cost of education—both during school years and in the transitions that follow.
We hosted a session with Killik & Co to explore their holistic approach to education planning, and how they work closely with families to align financial planning with long-term goals. The discussion offered valuable insights into supporting children’s futures through thoughtful, strategic preparation.
Unlocking Your Child’s Path to Independent School Bursaries and Scholarships, Part Two
Following the success of our first session, Part Two of the Future Forward series featured expert insights from leaders at Streatham & Clapham High, Alleyn’s, and St Paul’s Juniors. Parents were encouraged to focus on school fit over volume of applications and to engage early with Admissions teams. Panellists also highlighted the importance of mental wellbeing—commute, structure, support systems—and shared balanced views on co-ed vs. single-sex schooling. The session reinforced collaboration between families and schools, reflecting Kids EDEN Camp’s commitment to guiding parents through every stage of the independent school journey.
